The Xtract Plug® is specially developed for companies which do planting in the endpot by hand. Just as a paperpot, the Xtract Plug® stand loose in the cell of the tray, but has the same positive characteristics as our other plug systems. Due to a high airation, the rooting trough the plug is optimal. The subtrate has the same properties as the Xcel Plug®, which means fast establishment en homogenious growth.

While being processed, the Xtract Plug® retains its strength. The Xtract Plug® will not fall apart, even when the crop is not fully rooted. Therefore, the Xtract Plug® can be very well used by automated systems such as planting- and sorting robots.
In this 'waterretention test' we like to show you how easy a completely dried out plug accepts water.
For a period of seven days, this plug has been dried in a stove by a temperature of 50 'C (122 F). Obviously does in cultivation an extreme situation as such not exist.
Afterwards we placed this dry plug in a small puddle of water and in the video you can see the outcome.
That totally dried out plugs become useless are hereby a thing of the past!
